Recall John Erickson NOW!
West Hollywood Councilmember John Erickson, enabled by his cronies Lindsey Horvath and Sepi Shyne, has failed us.
Enough is ENOUGH! Let’s hold our Elected Officials to a higher standard that our beloved City deserves. Sign the petition to recall John Erickson from West Hollywood City Council, and let your voice be heard!
West Hollywood needs your help.
Our businesses can’t survive.
Rage. Gold Coast. Circus of Books. Greenblatt’s Deli. Flaming Saddles. The Standard. Treasured landmarks forever destroyed. Small businesses have shut down in record numbers. John Erickson bulldozes over our business community & calculatedly seeks revenge against their advocates.
Despair & mistrust run rampant.
The social disorder in our community is plain to see. People are suffering in our streets. Division and fear among neighbors is just as endemic as the virus.. But the failed solutions from John Erickson and his power-clique serve as little more than a band-aid or “feather in their cap”. Their only concern is their own advancement in Party politics, cluelessly staging photo-ops with a thinly-veiled disdain for the rest of us struggling to thrive.
Our democracy is being eroded.
Citizens of WeHo are locked out of City Hall and our own democratic processes. John Erickson has thwarted crucial study procedures on major decisions impacting thousands of livelihoods. Erickson retaliates against his critics, big or small, that dare disagree with him. He uses his Elected Official platform to dehumanize and divide our community. Erickson has repeatedly violated the Brown Act, and has been caught knowingly violating his constituents’ First Amendment protections of Free Speech.
